a few weeks ago me and my roomies decided to climb mt. timp. i wasn't really mentally prepared for how strenuous this hike is, but it was totally worth it (note: if you ever try to attempt this, start hiking before 3 pm, so you make it off the mountain before 1 am, and bring a flashlight so you don't almost kill yourself by falling off a cliff about a dozen times).
i also went to the styx concert with my bestie heather. i'm so glad that she likes to go to old people concerts with me. And of course we always wear matching shirts.
we both decided, as we were surrounded by a bunch of people who grew up in the 70s and got hit on by drunken guys, that music today is just not the same as it used to be. bands used to write meaningful lyrics and play all of their own music, instead of just using a synthesizer and repeating the same sentence over and over...and when they performed live they sounded like they did on cd....crazy huh?
and last weekend my best friends from back home came and stayed with me. let's just say, we stayed up WAY too late and things got a little crazy....
